This short book is a beginning exploration into the concept that infectious agents can eventually cause mental illness. The hope is that an exploration of infectious agents and their role in mental illness will lead to a more full understanding of the pathology behind mental illnesses, but more than that, lead to ideas about treatments for these disorders.
